Abraham came to the place where he could believe God for anything. He believed that everything God promised, He was able to perform. Faith considers absolutely nothing but the promise of God. Not circumstances. Not appearances. Not the natural realm. Just God's promises.
Have you given up expecting great things from God, and settled down into an ordinary Christian life, putting off to another age things that God will do right here and now as soon as conditions are met? What are the conditions? Only believe. Believe God for anything. O dear disappointed one; God is wooing you into such a place of close fellowship with Him, to a place of such assurance that you will be able to say to Him: "I know You hear me always! I can believe You for anything!"
