As I was preparing for work one morning, I dropped a hand mirror, and it went crashing to the floor. The pieces were everywhere. When I stooped down to pick them up, the phrase "seven years" immediately went through my head.

This week, repent of past sins and failures and press on to what God has for you in 2009. Ask Him to reveal His goals for you this coming year and direct you toward them. Resolve to follow His directives and step into the year with anticipation. Continue to pray for those in positions of governmental authority, our military and their families, Israel, the Middle East and nations of the world, especially during this time of war.
